Garden Valley at the GV Center for the Arts: People gathered to have a chance to win scrumptious chocolate items at the latest Garden Valley Center for the Arts February show of Wild Hearts for the Arts and Chocolate Auction. Handmade items, some with a heart theme, were available to bid on. Then the chocolate desserts and treats were wanted by many, with a chance to outbid their neighbor in the last minute. Items ranged from chocolate and caramel popcorn to mousse to a cheesecake trifle.  There were so many treats to choose from.  The February show is always well attended for the chance to get treats and gifts just in time for the Valentine Holiday.

Next regularly scheduled opening gala will be on March 3, 2018 at 6:00pm.  This show will feature art from students from the Garden Valley and Horseshoe Bend Schools along with home-school groups.  Students will have their artwork on display and to sell.  Every year this show is a favorite among many.  Students can see what it is like to have their hard work on display for the public to enjoy. For information on getting artwork displayed, contact the GVCA at 208-462-6860 or email gvca.gv@gmail.com.
