1st NOTICE OF ELECTION of November 7th, 2018 for Qualified Electors

1st NOTICE OF ELECTION

Boise County will have City Elections and a Garden Valley School District levy question between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Sample ballots and information are on the Boise County website: www.boisecounty.us  and available at the Clerk’s Office.

Polling places are listed as follows:

City of Crouch and GV School District levy question, Precinct 30, Garden Valley School 1053 Banks Lowman Road

Garden Valley School District levy question, Precinct 60, Lowman Emergency Services Station #80

City of Horseshoe Bend, Precinct 40, Ladies’ Auxiliary Club Building, 121 W. Boise St.

City of Idaho City, Precinct 50, Boise County Courthouse, 419 Main St.

City of Placerville, Precinct 80, Mail Out Only-all residents will receive a ballot in the mail

Absentee, Precinct 90; Miners Exchange Building, 420 Main St.; Idaho City.

Only qualified and registered electors eighteen (18) years of age or older, who are United States citizens, that have resided in the State of Idaho and in the District for at least thirty (30) days preceding the election, and no others, will be permitted to vote at said election.  All qualified electors must present picture identification at the polling place on Election Day, even if they are already registered. Any qualified elector of the District may vote by absentee ballot in the manner provided by law.  In-person absentee voting is available at the County Clerk’s office, 420 Main St., Idaho City, until Friday, November 3, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is 5:00 pm, October 27, 2017 per I.C. 34-1002.  Voted absentee ballots must be received by the County Clerk no later than 8:00 pm on the day of the election in order to be counted per I.C.§ 34-1005.
