Garden Valley School – October 12, 2017 – Community Helper Appreciation Evening, held in conjunction with Fire Safety Week, was a bit chilly but there were so many vehicles for kids to explore. Rewards were supplied after six stations were signed off on their passports. Fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, dump trucks were all sitting at the school. Kids got candy, colors, and Trick or Treat bags. Special yellow hard hats passed out by Cari Severance. Some of the participants were Boise National Forest Service with Smokey Bear, Harlow Bus Company, Air St. Luke’s, Idaho State Police, Garden Valley Fire and Ambulance, Boise County Sheriff, Severance Sand and Gravel, Boise County Road Department and the Garden Valley Library. Kids lined up to get their chance to sit high up in the fire truck and blow the horn.   Photo by Janet Juroch

  1. Sorry to break in. I was hoping someone could help me understand how to get the word out on a business that opened in Horseshoe Bend. Repair Plus, offering repairs on trailers, homes and all the small engine garden equipment. If you have a thought, please, i would luv to here it. Thanks Andrew
