The Annual Spring Fling is arriving on May 6th with events happening all day. This is a celebration of spring, welcoming back our snowbird neighbors and all things new this year. Make a day of it and explore all the booths and shops throughout Crouch. There will be a silent auction of handcrafted items located at the GVCA.  This event is sponsored by the Garden Valley Center for the Arts and is their big fundraiser. The admission is free and so much fun for the whole community in downtown Crouch.

Over 20 vendors are set to be in town with handcrafted items ranging from jewelry to wood work to mixed media art. Some of the vendors are novelty prepared food booths selling pies and honey. Other new businesses will be making debuts as well. The day ends with a free reception at the Art Center from 6 – 8pm featuring artist where winners of the silent auction will be announced. Combined with the flea market and the Old Crouch Merc with over 40 vendors, town will be busy.

A big attraction for everyone to see is the Opening Day of Idaho X-Sports Summer Adventure Park located in downtown Crouch by the Garden Valley Market.  They will have the Freedom Jump bungy trampoline, a bounce house, disc golf, mountain bike rentals, outdoor games (horseshoes, ladder ball, bean bag toss, bocce ball), snacks & drinks. Later in the season they will have river tube rentals at that location as well.

Music  performed by Bobby Dee Keys and Todd Dunnigan aka Dueling Pianos will bring their high energy Rock n Roll and Sing-a-Long comedy show to Crouch. This is a high energy and ever popular duo in Boise venues. Throw out a request and they’ll probably know it! Performance will be outside so bring a chair!

No one will be hungry or thirsty at Spring Fling. Food and drink will be available with the local eateries, GV Market Deli , Wild Bills, Two Rivers, The Spot (inside Old Merc), The Dirty Shame. There will be two food trucks serving Mexican and BBQ. Kettle Corn and Tropical Cold frosties to round out the food items as you explore town.

Another new opening event is the Garden Valley Visitor Information Center, located at the back of the Crouch Community Hall. The Visitor Center will be compiling information for what there is to do, to eat and where to stay in the area. A Crouch guest Wi-Fi hotspot has been created for use and sponsored by Handy Pros and Idaho X-Sports for the City of Crouch and its Visitor Center. Stop in to see what the Visitor Center has to offer so far and its plans for growing into a community information center.

Spring Fling is all for a good cause and supports the Garden Valley Center for the Arts. Your support helps make it possible to help promote local artists and also to promote art itself with a mix of local and regional visual and performing artists visiting throughout the year. Garden Valley Center for the Arts (GVCA) appreciates your support and more info can be found at or
