Weilmunster Park Now Has 24 Trees

On Thursday, October 13, Weilmunster Park gained 24 more trees. The trees are a type of ash tree that will produce yellow leaves in the fall. The 2 inch in diameter trees were brought in by the Garden Valley Parks and Recreation District. Future plans will include more trees that will have foliage of other colors.

Thor Oden was running the excavator donated for use by Paul Shepherd and Son Excavation. Also working to plant the trees before the rains started were Leigh Ward- Parks and Rec Chairman, Steven Menlove Parks -Rec. Board Member and Larry Sardvig – Volunteer.
